Who are we?
Who are you?
RankUp is a company founded by two players and friends: Arthur Glory and Miguel Louis.
Arthur is cofounder and responsible for the communication and marketing (you should blame him if you see spelling mistakes in our Facebook posts).
Miguel is cofouder and responsible for the development (you should blame him if you see bugs on RankUp).
Where are you?We both live in Granville, a small town in Normandy. Since the beginnig of the project we are supported by Granville Digital, a start-ups incubator.
While playing Overwatch, the idea of RankUp came to our mind. Everyone from our side we felt a frustration about this awesome game, as we couldn't enjoy it at its full potential. We had this idea in mind: build a tool to create a team, based on everyone's preferences, so no one will have to play a role out of spite anymore.
Sharing our ideas, we quickly decided to become associates to build this project, always keeping in mind to build something that fulfills our expactations as players.
The project is born in February 2018. A first test has been made in our office in July 2018. The beta is online since January, 22nd 2019.
